Friday is Career Day

Every Friday of our Basic Freight Broker Training Course is Career Day… or Resource Friday.

After learning the ins and outs of being a freight broker in our course we introduce graduates to Freight Brokers who are looking for agents.  Talk with these successful Freight Brokers  about becoming an agent or starting your own brokerage. It is a win-win situation.  The freight brokers that offer opportunities on Friday know that Brooke training is thorough.  They know we teach with integrity and enthusiasm.  So when they find a graduate that likes their opportunity it is a winning situation for both.

We also have service companies who can help with the set up of a brokerage office, financing needs, load board insider information, and more.

We have a variety of professionals Brooke has worked with over the decades in the industry.  We put out the invitation and get a great response.  The mix of who comes to resource Friday varies but the quality of opportunities is always rich.

We’d love to sign you up for our freight broker training course, in English or
Spanish.  Spend a week with us, learn what is needed, then get a career opportunity handed to you on a silver platter.

I thrive on meeting our students, seeing them grow in knowledge during the week then find the career opportunity that is right for them.

Join us soon.

Ultimate Sacrifice

Our hearts are heavy this Memorial Day for our fallen heroes.  And for recent senseless violence.  Throughout the history of the United States, men and women of valor have given their lives for their country, for our freedom and for the betterment of mankind everywhere.

Our military fight for peace, that is our goal... not for aggression.  I have met many heroes in our training program for Disabled Vets.  They tell me their stories.  They have faced great fears and continue to fight for the future with a stamina that those of us who have not served will never fully understand.

Greater love has no man that this, that he lay down his life for a friend.

As you enjoy a day with family, friends and some really good barbecue don't fail to remember those who have lost their lives in battle.  The National Memorial Day Concert is back after a 2 year pause. It will be played live on PBS, 8 pm on Sunday night.  Tune in and be inspired.

Pray for the families that push forward even with heavy losses on their hearts. Pray for the parents of the little ones in Uvalde, Texas.

Moving forward,

Good Friday

Good morning to you on this Good Friday. We all need some good news in our world today.  There are too many things causing discord and disunity.  Today let us think about all that is good, all that brings us together.  We live in a world of different beliefs and I appreciate others right to decide what to believe. I believe in the God that sent His son as the savior of the world.

When I go hiking, the downhill is so easy.  It hardly takes any effort to go downward.  Likewise, it is easy to criticize, to grumble, finding fault everywhere.  Today, Good Friday we should purpose to do the most good, think the most good and find the good in every situation.  Today is called Good Friday because it is the day Christ did the most good.  He died to set men free, all men, good and bad.  A good person might die for another good person but who would die for the worst of sinners?  Jesus Christ did.

There is no greater love than when one lays down his life for a friend.  Jesus laid down his life for all of mankind on the "Good Friday" 2022 years ago.

No Convoy Needed

I spend a lot of my day interacting with carriers and shippers. I am often asked my thoughts on the "trucker's strike" that has made the news in Canada and iscoming to America.

Truckers organizing "The People's Convoy" are set to leave California and travel to Washington DC to protest "vaccine mandates" February 23. Yet according to Overdrive   "OSHA clarified vax mandates wouldn't apply to most truck drivers.    The ETS (emergency temporary standards) does not apply to individuals who work alone.  The labor secretary reinforced this in a statement to CNBC.

Truck drivers are usually in a cab by themselves when they are driving across country.

Most news sources claim the truckers are mad about vaccination mandates.

That is a small piece of what has gotten them stirred up. As reported in Landline media, Brian Brase, an organizer of the convoy, says it is not about vaccines at all but about "human and constitutional rights".

I've been in the transportation industry for over 3 decades.  I am a huge advocate for truckers.  They keep our economy going.  They have an important and very exhausting job.  Without those hardworking men and women America's economy would come to a screeching halt.

Profit margin for a trucker is only about 5%. As long as I've been talking with truck drivers they have been frustrated with the costs that limit their profit.  The drivers drive and maintain their truck.  They farm out everything else to brokers, factoring companies, etc.  Their frustrations are fueled by listening to other drivers and reading stuff on the internet.

As an advocate, I thrive on teaching these amazing people ways to help their bottom line.  So many truckers come through our school with a totally new outlook on their industry and better ways to run their business.  They think coming in that they understand the transportation industry but quickly learn it is a much bigger puzzle than what they've been putting together.

I invite all truck drivers to come through Brooke Transportation Training. They will learn how to find their own loads, how to streamline their operation and be inspired to greater heights.

Call me 214-206-1169 and I can tell your more.  No pressure, we will just talk through

your situation and I'll tell you my thoughts.  I always have a lot of thoughts.

Happy Fourth of July

We live in a great country.  As far as I'm concerned it is the greatest country in the planet.  We have faults but we have more freedoms. This weekend as we celebrate our independence we can't forget the brave men and women who have served in our military.  Enjoy time with your friends and family but also reach out to a veteran or someone currently serving in a branch of the military.

Brooke Transportation Training is an approved Chapter 31 program approved to train disabled vets for a new career.  As a result I have the honor of saying thanks in person to scores of brave individuals who have given a part of themselves in service to the USA.

I ask them to tell me their stories if they are comfortable doing that.  For many, serving in the military was their only option as a job when they graduated from high school.  Once they are in the service they never know how or where they will serve.  Some leave behind children and wives, all leave behind family and friends.  They return to find many things changed.  Their children and siblings have grown and moved forward in life while they were away.  They have to get reacquainted with their spouses, this is a challenge to both.  And they have to find a new way to make a living.  We relish the opportunity to work with vets everyday as they move forward after serving our great country.

Independence Day is a day to celebrate our country... The freedoms we enjoy... The men and women who protect those freedoms.

Enjoy the long weekend and thank a vet.

Thank a Vet on this Fourth

A Vet and her faithful friend on the 4th

How will you spend this Fourth of July weekend?  At  the lake, boating, cooking out with friends and family while watching or setting off  fireworks?

Remember the vets who fought for and continue to fight for our country.  The land of the free and the home of the brave. Think about what a disabled vet suffering from PTSD thinks of as the fireworks blast off all around.

God Bless our Vets.  I am blessed to have met and become friends with some of these brave souls. Helping them learn how to work from home is my mission.   Theses men and women are my heroes.  Be safe. Hug your love ones.  Say thanks to our honored military.  Freedom isn’t Free!   God bless America.

Happy Fourth

Memorial Day

Memorial Day is a day to reflect on the sacrifice that so many have made for freedom. I am so thankful for those in my family that have served in the military.  I don't have anyone in my close family that gave their life serving but many who sacrificed a lot to go defend our country in a foreign land. I am very thankful for that.  I will take time out of my day to express my gratitude. I challenge all of my readers to do the same.

Memorial Day used to be called Decoration Day because it was a day set aside to adorn graves of fallen soldiers with   flowers. I was wondering how many graves we should be adorning this Memorial Day.

I found an article from the Los Angeles Times that gave the actual number of soldiers who died in the wars of our land:

4,435 in The American Revolution (1775-17830)
2,260  in the War of 1812 (1812-1815)
1,000 in the Indian Wars (1817-1898)
1,733 in the Mexican- American War (1846-1848)
140,414 Union Soldiers in Civil War
74,524 Confederate Soldiers in Civil War
384 Spanish-American War
53,402 World War I (1917-1918)
291,557 World War II (1941-1945)
33,739 Korean War (1950-1953)
47,434 Vietnam War (1964-1975)
148 Persian Gulf War (Desert Shield/Desert Storm) (1990-1991)
6,915 Global War on Terrorism (2001- present)

As you enjoy a day off grilling burgers with friends and family, take time to remember those who gave the ultimate price in the protection of the freedom we all enjoy in the United States.

Because Brooke Transportation Training is certified to train disabled vets for a new career, I am privileged to get to meet many vets.  I thank you for your service, I am honored to get to be a part of your future and I wish you much success and blessing in appreciation for your service.

Two for One Training

Every day on the news I hear great signals for economic prosperity on the horizon.  The Dow Jones just hit an all time high.  Regardless of your political views, the macro picture for the transportation industry has never been better.

We hear that new construction of manufacturing plants is in the works.
US companies are trading at all time highs on the stock exchange, which means more capitol investments.

USA is investing in infrastructure improvements including the building of more pipelines, highways and tunnels.  We are even going to build a Wall I have heard although I don’t think Mexico is too happy with that idea.

There is a reason why all the transport companies are hiring. We have never ever had a better environment for freight transport specialist and those companies who arrange transportation services for profit (freight brokers).  I can’t think of a better time to be in this industry in my 30 year career in the freight industry.

In anticipation of this economic opportunity, Brooke Transportation Training Solutions is offering a

2 for 1 special
through the end of February 2017.

So come to training, bring your spouse, your business partner or a friend.  Both of you will get trained for the price of one.  You can take the class whenever it fits in your schedule.  Sign up before the end of February to get the 2 for 1 special.

This is your chance to get a great head start in your career as an agent or broker.

When Loads Get Lost

Everyone in the transportation industry knows that on any given day hundreds if not thousands of freight loads get sidetracked.  The reasons a load is waylaid are endless, since there are so many aspects and people involved in the moving of a load. The carrier might not show up for a pick up, or a carrier could get sidetracked in Vegas while he has my load.    Loads can be stolen while a carrier takes a quick break at a coffee shop.  Carriers however are not always the problem.   Snowstorms, bad weather, trucks breaking down, DOT and even the shippers changing plans or load details at the last minute can turn a load into a nightmare.

The key to controlling a situation like this, is communication.  Shippers are not new to these types of situations and can be very forgiving to a Freight Broker providing they are kept in the loop.  It is essential for the broker to contact the shipper as soon as he finds out about an issue with the shipper’s load. The worst thing that can happen is that the shipper finds out about a problem from someone other than their broker.

Make sure the shipper has a clear understanding of the situation and tell them what you are doing about it. Keep in touch with them periodically even if you have no new news just to let them know that you are still on it.

Regarding the carrier, make sure you have the dispatcher’s phone number, the driver’s phone number and an "after hours" number or someway to effectively find the carrier.  It is imperative that you can reach the driver and dispatcher during a crisis.  Make sure to talk with both the dispatcher and driver to get all the details of the situation.  Sometimes you don't get the whole story by just talking to one.  Stay on top of the carrier to make sure that they are doing all they can to handle the situation.

When your shipper trusts you, they will understand so long as you keep them informed.  The trust between you will be strengthened if you handle a bad situation well and with transparency.

Communication is not just important, it is key.

Sales Pitch

Why do they call it a sales pitch?  I'm not a fan of that term.  A sales pitch sounds like something is being thrown at me.  What do you do when something is thrown at you, especially when it is thrown at you fast?  You duck, of course.  If it is a slow pitch you might catch it, but a fast pitch unless you are in the big leagues, you dodge the ball coming at your head.

So I like to think of my sales approach more like a climb up a tall mountain.  You climb a tall mountain one step at a time.  Slow and steady.  The more you learn about the mountain path just like the more you learn about your client's needs, the easier the climb.  You can anticipate the sharp curves and the holes in the trail if you have learned a bit about the trail.  As you know your client's needs you can address them with confidence.  You can learn about your client by reading their website, talking with others who know them and through interaction with the potential client.

Freight brokers offer a great service to their clients.  Some clients recognize that value others have to be shown the value through education and great service.  I truly enjoy getting to know people.  I think that is one of the keys to my success as a freight broker and as a freight broker trainer.  People enjoy working with those who know them and respect them for who they are.

I train my freight broker students to make lots of phone calls.  So when they need a break from the phone calls I recommend doing  a little internet research on a potential customer.

I suggest potential students of mine read everything I have on my website, facebook and blog before they sign up for my course.  I want them to know me, know my values and read testimonials of what others have said about the course.  I want them to know that I want them to succeed.  I want them to learn what they need.  And I want them to have confidence in the process we teach at our freight broker training courses.

Have a successful Monday.

Make the Sale

Some employ soft sale tactics, some push with a hard sale approach. Which make more sales?

All people are unique.  The most successful sales people customize their sales approach to the customer to some degree.  In sales, as in life, we can learn a lot from our experiences.  A salesperson has to develop their own style.  Learn all you can about how others approach sales opportunities then develop the approach that fits with who you are.  Learn about how your potential customer functions and you will find the key to developing a great business relationship.

An easy going, laid back personality will go into sales with an easy going, laid back style.  They will be most successful with clients who are more relaxed.  A relaxed client will welcome the calm sales person into their office or on the phone.  The two will take an easy approach to negotiating a deal with which they both are at peace.

A hard driving personality will approach sales with a stronger appeal.  Others with that type A personality will appreciate their drive.  They walk into an office or make a phone call and take charge.  They grab their client's attention from the get go and keep that attention until they go in for the sale.  The two will charge into a lively negotiation to seal the deal.

The analytical sales person approaches his clients with an abundance of data.  They will prove their case with stacks of charts, figures and testimonials.  The client will be armed with all the data they could imagine in which to make a decision.  A client with the orderly persona will really enjoy all those charts to analyze for hours.  These will take longer to make a decision but that decision will be well thought through.

The fun loving personality will charm their clients with their stories and humor.   The freight broker with this approach will be very entertaining and enjoyable to be around.  People love doing business with them because people love being entertained.  The fun loving client will appreciate the cleverness of this professional.  This professional will be challenged with attending to all the details of the contract and staying focused.

In business as in life, we all deal with all these personalities, not just the personality similar to our own.  So to find the best success, a business professional will benefit from understanding what motivates their clients and appeal to that motivator.  We can appreciate different personalities because we often wish we had a little more drive, a little less drive, more bent towards research or more humor in our world.

I'm fascinated by the uniqueness God put in each person.  Enjoy spending time with those like you as well as those not like you and you will find success.

What's a Freight Broker??

A freight broker is the guy in the transportation world who matches loads with transporters, goods with carriers, stuff with truckers...  A freight broker is a very important job in the transportation industry.  He/she is a middle man, but in a good way.  I think conventional wisdom thinks if we cut out the middle man we can earn more money.  That may be true in some industries but in the transportation industry the freight broker actually helps a lot with efficiency in the industry.

For example say there is a truck full of lettuce bound across the country to deliver the veggies to an area of the country who can't produce their own lettuce.  The carrier may not have a load to take back across the country.  If he rides empty that's a wasted trip.  That trucking company will often use a freight broker to find a load for the return trip.

Freight brokers become very familiar with the lanes (or route) their carriers take regularly.  They are  very knowledgeable about the specific kinds of merchandise they move, the paperwork needed and the type of truck needed for that particular load.  Their knowledge is very helpful to them and their clients.

Individual freight brokers can work independently or as an agent of a larger freight brokerage.  The relationship is similar to that of a insurance agent or a realtor and the larger company they work under.

I have been in the transportation industry since I graduated college 30 or so years ago.  In that time I've worked in most all capacities in the industry, but mostly I've been a freight broker.  I started my own freight brokerage out of my garage.  I found great success, great customers and great business associates.  I started my freight broker training school to pass along some of the things I have learned along the way.  I now am privileged to meet some amazing professionals destined to do great things as freight brokers and freight broker agents.

Top 3 Ways to Beat the Competition

Shari Waters shares some simple but brilliant ways to stay ahead in this tight economy environment.  She writes to retailers but the ideas are effective for the transportation industry as well. I edited this a bit

Top 3 Ways to Beat the Competition

By Shari Waters, About.com

It's inevitable that your business will have some form of competition. And while you can't control what your competitors do, you can minimize their impact on your business. Here are three ways to rise above the competition.

1. Reduce Expenses, Not Advertising
Take a look at your Profit and Loss statement, or itemize all of your expenses, and ask yourself how each line can be eliminated or reduced. Find out where you can cut back. A little here and a little there will soon add up. However, the one expense you do NOT want to reduce is advertising. In fact, many increase their marketing efforts during slower sales periods because there is more competition for fewer dollars.

2. Get Creative
Get creative and use unconventional marketing methods to distinguish your business from the competition. A unique marketing campaign attracts more attention and lands more sales. Also, look for some new untapped market you and your competitors overlooked. You may uncover a niche market you can dominate with little or no competition.

3. Provide Outstanding Customer Service
By going the extra mile to provide good service, outlast the competition. Make dealing with your company a memorable experience. People like to do business with those they feel comfortable and where they feel the owner truly cares about their wants and needs.

In our training course for freight brokers we teach how to build a freight brokerage and we give our students lots of inspiration.  A key element to success is staying encouraged.  I talk with professionals everyday looking for encouragement.  We are only a phone call away for any graduate who needs encouragement along the way.

How to Pick a School

Education can be quite expensive so when you choose to learn more you need to make a good pick.  You need to do some research.   Read any testimonials from students that have studied what you are going to study.  Talk to graduates to find out what they liked and didn't like about where they were educated.  Pick a program that can prepare you for a career that will have value.  Go into as little debt as possible.

I have been running my freight broker training school for over a decades now.  In my time I've seen schools come and go.  The schools that are just in it for the money, focus on getting students money more than educating those students.  I started my freight broker school after a successful career as a freight broker.  I wanted to give back to the industry by training new freight brokers in what gave me success.  I don't just teach how to do freight brokering.  I also teach the value of integrity.  I am so honored when graduates comment that they were inspired and they were taught.

We are so thankful that Brooke Transportation Training Solutions earned an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.  We have worked diligently to improve our school, find excellent instructors and keep up with our students.  We are interested in the success of our graduates so we keep up with them and encourage them.

If you are looking for training in the transportation industry give me a call.  I will answer any questions you have with all honesty.  If you are a graduate of our school and need some encouragement give me a call.  If you learned freight brokering elsewhere I'd love to talk with you as well.

Customers for Life

If you are new to freight brokering you are just starting to build relationships with customers.  A key to success is repeat customers.  Most shippers have routine, repetitive shipments that move around the country on a predictable schedule.   Your business will flourish when you build up some regular customers.  So how do you make lifetime customers?  Treat them the way you would like to be treated if the shoe was on the other foot, in other words treat them just like you would want to be treated.  And of course, don't treat them the way you would not like to be treated.

Good treatment includes honesty.  Be a freight broker of integrity.  Do what you say you will do, when you say you will do it.  Better yet, under promise and over deliver.  Always be truthful, even when it is tough.  If you lose a customer telling the truth, you still have a good conscious and all will shake out in the end.  When you mess up, admit it, apologize, make up for the mistake if possible, move on and focus on doing better the next time around.  Figure out what you could have done to avoid the mistake.

Good treatment includes follow up.  After you have delivered a load for a client.  Check up with them.  Ask if they are satisfied.  Ask if you could have done something better.  Ask if you can help them in the future.  Don't be a pest but do let them know you want to do more work for them.

Good treatment means learning as much as you can about your customer's business.  When you know their business you can anticipate their needs.  You will have the knowledge to ask the right questions.  You will be able to talk their language.  If they are confidant you understand their needs they will be more likely to use your services.

Good treatment means being respectful of your customer's time and talents.  Think through what it would be like to do their job.  How can you help their job be easier?  Don't think of your job as selling your services.  Rather think of you job as helping your customer get their work done more efficiently by taking some of their burden.

Think about the best relationships you have in life.  How have they developed into a lasting relationship?  Learn from what has helped in building solid relationships of all sorts in your life and apply those things to your business relationships.  Of course you must keep your business relationships professional.

I Gained Confidence to Work from Home

When I got to class I had no idea where to start.  With the help of Brooke Transportation School I now know where to start, what to look for, and what is expected of me by a shipper or carrier.  Brooke connects real world experience with the actual freight broker business.  Helping me get the confidence and reassurance to branch out and work from home. I did  the research on Brooke Transportation School.  I can say my research came out to be everything I expected.  When I arrived to the school, some things were unclear about agents and  brokers.  But by the end of the fifth day.  I was well motivated and overly excited to get started with working as an agent with Brooke Training and knowledge. --Terry  Ketchaver

Brooke  Training course was very informative.  Being in this industry for a few years, I really respect the info I was given throughout the  course.  From a carrier standpoint, this course changed my view of the industry…for the better!  Really opened my eyes to the possibilities and amazing  opportunities of the transportation “world”.  A plus from Ohio--Antonio Underwood

When I  first started the class I was very skeptical… wasn’t sure what to expect.  Spending $2.500.00 wasn’t easy especially when all my friends who were in the business told me it takes more than five days, more  like years to learn this business.  Still I came and guess what I would do it again.  Love Brooke Transportation, Thank you for the Great Training.

Making a live sales call was a rewarding experience, the coaching and instruction is  vital to success.  Although earning revenue is necessary, I like the importance put on other components of their  lives. --Paul  Hill

I wasn’t sure what to expect before I attended the class.  I  knew I would be taught Freight Brokering but I got a lot more out of it  than that.  They taught life lessons that you can use in  all aspects of life.  Fantastic  instructor!!!!! --Jerry  Lorton

Great  class.  Met my expectations.  Wonderful instruction.  The instructors make the program  great… think outside the box.   I’m looking forward to the advanced class. --Seth  Ochoa

As a  small part of the transportation business I was looking forward to learning  more information.  This has been a very important and resourceful step in what I want to accomplish.  Everyone  that I met and spoke to has been very influential.  The Brooke presenter has been a very good instructor and friend.  He taught me a lot of what I needed to know for my start as a broker.   In my experience with Brooke Transportation, it’s been an eye opener and blessing just to be here.  Looking forward to moving on to be the best that I can in the present, and the future of my  career.  Again thanks for all the info. --Jose  Ruiz, Jr.

We enjoy every month getting to know a new group of students who want to learn our proven process in becoming a successful freight broker or freight broker agent.  This month's graduates were amazing.  We appreciate their encouraging words.  I know I'm doing exactly what I should be doing as a freight broker trainer.

Remember a Veteran

The United States federal holiday of Memorial Day was first celebrated May 30th 1868.  It was called Decoration Day because that day was set aside to go to the graveyards and decorate graves of brave ones with flowers. U.S. men and women who died while in the military service deserve such remembrance. First enacted to honor Union soldiers of the American Civil War (it is celebrated near the day of reunification after the civil war), it was expanded after World War I to memorialize all American lives lost in war. (edited from Wikopedia

Take time this memorial day to remember someone who died while serving our great nation.  Thank a veteran of any war.  And reflect on your own heart.  Life is precious.  What cause is great enough to sacrifice a life?  Is there any cause or any person for which you sacrifice your life?  Have I taught my children: greater love has no man than this that he lay down his life for his brother?

As I was thinking towards the Memorial Day holiday I thought about different people in my life who have died and what their life displayed to the world.  My sister in law recently died.  Her life displayed love especially to her children, good work ethic and forever loyalty to her Baylor Bears.  My uncle in law recently died as well.  He enjoyed life, a good golf game and singing in the church choir to the glory of God.

I want my life to count for something.  I don’t want to waste a day in selfishness, although I know I do.  When a soldier signs up he knows that his life may end.  All our lives will end.  We know that but we don’t always live like every day is precious.  So this Memorial Day remember to live a purposeful life everyday.

Motivated Freight Brokers

We enjoyed another week of training some motivated freight brokers.  Thank you to our faithful instructor Vinny and my entire team.  I can tell you all day how good I think the class will be for you but my words are not nearly as powerful as those who have taken the course.  So take a few minutes to read what our most recent Dallas live course graduates say about their experience.  If you’d like to be challenged, develop confidence and be encouraged while learning a new skill give us a call. 214-206-1169.

Here are our graduates testimonies:

Before starting the broker training, I didn’t know what to expect.  I wanted to learn the brokerage business and the ins and outs, and not know if this training would be enough to start my business and be successful.  After the first two days of the session I developed a lot more confidence in myself and ability to be successful in this profession.  In addition, the instructor was able to answer all of my questions pertaining to personal development and business success.

Knowing that my success is based on the work I put into it and knowledge gained through Brooke Training I am ready to start, or rather continue my journey.   --Sequoiah  Brown

I’ve learned a great business model to follow in my efforts to build my business.  Vinny’s personal development “focus” was a plus in this class.  I would recommend BTTS for anyone interested in the 3rd party logistics before making the career change.  Thanks for everything.

I want to personally thank Jeff Roach for sharing his life experiences with our class.  --Marc Stephens

If one word could describe my time spent here with Brooke’s team it would be encourage!  Relationship building takes great encouragement; I found a new me and I have learned how to share this with the world.  I owe this to my great instructor Vinny.  I now can adjust and be more active in building relationships with value.

I uncovered that being emotional with care, I am able to use logic to gain better results and productivity as a broker, business owner, and individual.  Thanks Vinny for the life teaching that will remain with me if I put the work in and build relationships with people of integrity, I will become a 24 hour champion! --Troy Dean Booth

When I started this class I expected to learn the basics of truck brokerage.  I got so much more.  I had no idea what I was in for.  Vinny taught me so much about myself I had no idea I needed to know myself before learning the trucking industry.

The positive experience I got from the Brooke Team was honesty about what to expect in the business, learning about what to get from myself to achieve my goals in my life.  Knowing Vinny is a life changing experience.  I feel so fortunate to have been blessed by the teachings of Vinny and Brooke.  Well worth the money.  Thank you so much. --Laura Roland

I researched a few schools and the first time I called it was like I was being sold to a college.  They wanted my credit card number and told me my class would be on line.  When I called BTTS, I spoke with Jeff Roach.  When I told him who I was, and what I wanted, he said “read all about us, then if you like it, come to my live class.  I liked what I read about the training and I enjoyed our conversation. I came here to learn brokerage, but today I am leaving a better man, father, and customer service provider.  With the tools you learn from Vinny, I know I am prepared for a successful life and new career.  Thank you Vinny, Jeff, Jan, and the Guest.  --Sir Thomas Gaither
