Let Freedom Ring

The Liberty Bell in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

July 4th, Independence Day is a day set apart to remember the blessings of freedom we all enjoy in America.  I have friends from all different nationalities, upbringings and political beliefs.  We all have a unique story of growing up in America or moving to America because of the freedoms and opportunities of this amazing country.

The Liberty Bell has been rung for various reasons, for celebrations and for a call to action.  It was first rung July 7, 1776 to announce the freedom of America.  At Work Faith Connection, a non profit that helps challenged individuals find a job, they ring a bell in their office when a participant gets a job, and the whole office celebrates.  Let's purpose to celebrate the independence birthed when someone finds a job.

At Brooke we celebrate with our graduates when they find success. We celebrate whenever anyone signs up for an online course.  We know that education is the pathway to new adventures, new skills and new freedoms.

Linked in published an article with top jobs, not requiring a college degree.  Courses that prepare you for these careers are available on our online school:
1.  Software Developer
2.  Sales Representative
3.  Project Manager
4. IT Administrator
5. Customer Service Specialist
6.  Digital Marketer
7.  IT Support Desk
8.  Data Analyst
9.  Financial Analyst
10.  Graphic Designer

In this time when much in our world has been turned upside down, I am still thankful for our country.  Those who have lost their jobs have opportunities to start something new, especially those in market segments who have been forever changed because of the virus.  If we can help you find a new career, we would feel so honored. Let freedom ring and give me a call.

Be The Boss

Freight Brokering, as an agent, is a real chance to own a franchise like business without paying the franchise fee. If you come to my school – you will be recruited by the industry leading Freight Brokers to become their agents and get the support you will need to get your business done. This is not a get quick rich scheme, it is an opportunity to have a real career with your own business.
If you have the  cash and want to build a brokerage and bring on 1000 agents, I can help you  with that too.  Our class will teach you how to own your own freight brokerage. I know how to do this because I’ve worked in the industry for over 20 years. I know what systems need to  be in place for an investor who wants to build a “non-asset business” with  extremely LOW fixed cost.
The freight broker business is  booming, a great investment opportunity.

I specialize in  helping companies grow their company as a part of the team. My passion is to create passive residual  revenue streams doing honest work. I love teaching others how to do it.
I love strategic alliances that are done on a handshake. Feel  free to contact me with all small business questions and concerns and  especially if you want me to help you on your project or if you want to help  mine.

I love to talk to entrepreneurs, investors, and venture capitalist.
Our mission is to educate and motivate the go getters and go  givers.

You can do this work from anywhere you have a computer and I will tell you now that our process works if you do. We are associated and do business with the top industry vendors, carriers, brokers, educators plus I will tell you what to do to reach your goals in this business. I have made a lot of good decisions and I have learned from my poor decisions. Let me earn you business. I will if given the chance.

Call me and get the straight skinny on whatever you need to or want to talk about. I will get to your call as soon as possible.
I will be offering more to my shippers and so will you if you come to my class.

Successful Inspiration

Need a little inspiration?  When I first started my business, man, it was so exciting.  Each day brought new challenges, new opportunities, and some new failures.  After a misstep, I'd pick myself up and keep going.

But then I got in the grove to the point it was easy to slip into complacency.  In this season of Corona where getting business and keeping business is twice as hard, it is a challenge to keep up the energy level.

When you hit a wall and need someone to give you a nudge, call us.  Because we have worked with many professionals for decades we have heard most of the vines that tangle up a new broker.  We love to coach others on the road to success.  Let us get in your corner and rev up the revenue.

I just received a testimonial from one of our coaching clients:

I have the tools I need to act.  I feel excited, confident and energized.
Tomorrow I am going to take action.
I got more out of 2 hours with Vinny (a Brooke instructor)
than I did the whole course
with the other company!  - Van Penn

Thanks for the testimonial.  We strive to provide true value in all we do.  That gives us motivation and confidence.

Five Star Class

The sky is the limit with freight broker training.  This is the sky I marveled at on my early morning walk recently.  I started Brooke Training as a way to help others reach for the sky.  The learning continued this week as more students came to our class.
Once again, I am so proud of the stupendous talent of the instructors who teach for Brooke Training.  These recent graduates learned much. Even when they didn’t think they had much to learn.   That’s a lesson for all of us.  We may go into a situation with low expectations and come out realizing we learned something valuable.  They learned freight brokering, as well as skills that will be advantageous in any industry.

I was hesitant to take the training course, thinking I had already been cultured in the trucking industry there wasn’t much I could get out of the class. The course and instructor proved me wrong. I not only learned the logistics of the business but also a lot of self improvement skills that will help me become and stay successful in this industry or any other moving forward.

-Christine M.

I really enjoyed this class. My instructor Vinny was FANTASTIC!! He was very informative about becoming a broker or an agent.  The different visitors that stopped by and took time out to tell me about their experience with Brooke Transportation Training Solutions showed me that I made the right choice! Thanks you guys.  And thank you Vinny!!!!

Memorial Day

The long weekend is here.  Memorial Day Weekend is a time to remember all the brave men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice for the United States. Those men and women died in the line of duty defending us, defending our freedoms.

This weekend is a time to be thankful for our country, the freedoms we enjoy and the life of promise we can have because of so many who have given their life for our country.   They unselfishly signed up for what ultimately meant a life cut short.  I say thank you to those families who have had to mourn that great loss.  I say thank you to the fellow soldiers who watched their compadre fall.

We are privileged to be a certified by the TexasWorkforce and approved by the Department of Rehabilitative Services. Click here for veteran information. As a result, I am honored to meet a lot of vets who take our Freight Broker Training and other courses at no cost to them.  We enjoy encouraging  their start at a new life after their military service.  I get to hear stories of their buddies who didn't make it out.  They are thankful to be alive,  but also challenged to understand why they still have their life when others don't.

Enjoy a weekend of freedom and thankfulness.

Want to Succeed??

“The greatest source of happiness is the ability to be grateful at all times.” – Zig Ziglar

Grateful people are successful.  Why?  Because they are always looking for the upside, the winning way, and the possibilities.  Zig Ziglar was one of the most positive people who every lived...and he was highly successful and taught others to follow that plan.  I am a huge fan of Zig.

What is a key to success to anyone starting out in business, starting a new job, or new career?

Seek out others who have succeeded in that arena.

Seek out others who are positive people.  Avoid those that will drone on and on about what doesn’t work and how hard it is and how to failure is so sure…  It sounds like a no brainer but it may actually be challenging to find positive voices.

Our natural tendency is to remember the bad things that happened in our day.  Do you remember the one rude guy who cut you off in traffic or the 1,000 of guys who drove nicely next to you?  When you recall your day do positive or negative experience stand out in your mind?

We of course know that no matter what you do, there will be good days, even great days of success, mixed with downer days.  Practice viewing challenges as opportunities...not obstacles to your success.  When we surround ourselves with others who stay positive, we are much more likely to stay positive.

Have you noticed every morning the news reports  how many new cases of  Corona virus popped up?  I have heard very few reports about the 96%  recovery rate.  I have heard few reports on how incredibly unlikely it is that you will contract the disease (like .0008% chance).

It is a serious disease that I certainly don’t want to get, but I’m not living in fear…I am going on with my school, encouraging students and graduates towards success. I will stay positive through this.

Stay safe, stay positive and hang out with others who encourage positivity.

Jeff Roach

I love my Mom!!

Mom's are the best.  My mom is my best friend.  I have a great attitude in life because she has a great attitude about life.  Not because she has had an easy life but because she looks for the good in every day and in everyone.  She is in her 80s now and so full of thankfulness for all she has in life.  She grew up in an orphanage, has lived a simple but full life.  She met my dad in that orphanage.  They were "throw away" children yet grew into incredibly valuable people.  I owe my life to them, in more ways than one.  I asked my mom to make a list of her thankfulness.  This is what she typed up on her laptop (she is a high tech great granny):

Things I am thankful for:

Thankful for God allowing me another day
Thankful for God's love
Thankful for Christ Jesus who died for me
Thankful for being able to pray
Thankful for God's beautiful earth
for the birds that sing, trees, flowers, rain and for the sunshine
Thankful for my beloved husband
Thankful for a cool house in the summer and warm in the winter
Thankful for my wonderful children, all my grandchildren, and great grandchildren
Thankful for my church family
Thankful for the food we have
Thankful for my friends
Thankful for my neighbor Joe and his family
Thankful for my eyes able to read and study God's word and see God's beautiful world
Thankful for my ears so I can hear the bird's singing
Thankful for our car (which our son gave us)
Thankful for my bed to sleep in
Thankful for all my aches and pains (I know others are a lot worse off)
Thankful for the night's rest
Thankful for our country, may we always live in freedom

(I have posted this list before but I think it is worth repeating.)

Happy Mother's Day to my mom and to mom's everywhere.  They are the heart of our nation.
