As this last week of Jesus life moved forward he spent time with his best buds, the 12 disciples. He told them about what was to come but they didn't understand. He had a passover meal with all 12 even the one that would betray him. He washed their feet...a task usually performed by a lowly servant. He was the son of God, God in the flesh yet he didn't use status to impress others.
The night before he would be killed he took some of his disciples into the garden to pray. He prayed so hard he sweated blood. He asked that this cup be taken from him but if that was not God's plan he submitted to God's will. The plan would give all men the pathway to a personal relationship with God. In that garden, Jesus friends fell asleep. Jesus woke them just as the guards came to take him away to be crucified.
The day of crucifixion is now called Good Friday. Why good? It appeared the evil had triumphed. But Jesus didn't stay dead. He conquered death for him and for all who believe. That was good for us all.
Sunday when some ladies who loved Jesus came to the cave/grave they found it empty. That was the first Easter.
Easter is a celebration of the risen Savior, of new life and joy.

Reverend King was living with his family in Montgomery, Alabama when Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat on a bus to a white man on December 5, 1955. As black leaders began mobilizing across the city, 26-year-old Martin Luther King Jr. was chosen to lead the first major nonviolent demonstration against segregation, the Montgomery Bus Boycott, as the spokesperson and president of the Montgomery Improvement Association.
That is how he started on his calling to recognize all men are created equal. As you continue on your own journey recognize your own ability to honor and encourage others, seek peace, and reconciliation.

Focus on your business not on the worries of the world. In our training classes we meet tenacious individuals who know the best investments are investments in them selves. If one source of income is lagging, come up with another source. Here's a nice little story.
We use a small mail/copy place to help us with a lot of our transactions. The owner is a tenacious man from India. He works hard helping others with their administrative needs but decided he could take on more. He could reinvest his profits into another money generator. He brought his "can do" spirit to our Freight Broker training class.
He spent 2 months training, acquiring equipment and licensing needed to be in freight brokerage. He now has 2 businesses. He runs the freight brokerage from the back of his mail/copy center. He says it is not a difficult business, you just have to learn it. His attitude is amazing. He is not overwhelmed. He took the time to be prepared. He is the perfect person to be successful.
